We will be going over the things we went over last night. Then, time permitting, we'll be moving on to something new. Stay tuned... :)

Choreography Night Three (3)
We will learn the Come on Everybody (Bows) and then we will go over what has been taught up to this point. EVERYONE should be there, unless you are listed on the Conflicts Calendar.
If you are NOT going to be there, you MUST text or call to let me know. NO ONE can simply NOT show up, going forward. You will be out of the show!
Please, also be sure to read over EVERY post on the blog. Also check the blog several times a day if at all possible.
Thank You!
Jared

All Shook Up @ Southside Theatre Guild is still looking to
fill the following roles (Required performance dates: Tuesday, July 9, then
Thursday –Sunday 1st weekend and Friday through Sunday remaining
weekends until July 28):
1.
Earl – (30+ y.o.) He is comic relief. He is visible throughout the play but doesn’t
get the opportunity to speak because of the Mayor. At the end, he finally gets the courage to
speak out. And boy does he? He sings a bit and is in a few songs. He does have to dance a little.
2. Ensemble – (20+ y.o.) There are two kinds of ensemble
needed for this show:
1. Backup singing – If you sing backup,
you can choose to either sing off stage or have some stage time.
2. Full with stage song and dance - if you’re interested in being a part in this
way, you have to learn songs and choreography.
We will probably use you to fill the bar scenes, the shoe shop scenes,
the devil in disguise angel/demon scene, the jailhouse scene and several
others. You can be as involved as you
like.

Tuesday, June 4, 2013...Choreography Night 2.
Just a few things before we begin...
We are focusing on the bigger group numbers first.
Be there at 7:00 pm sharp and expect to be there until 10:00 pm. If everyone can be there at 6:30 pm, more can be accomplished. If not, no worries, you'll have plenty of time to get the dances.
...Monique is an EXCELLENT teacher.
...Monique is an EXCELLENT teacher.
Wear comfortable clothes.
Bring water and stay hydrated!
Have pencil and paper ready in case you need to write things down.
NO - ABSOLUTELY - NO Flip Flops. Since you will be dancing in shoes, I would personally prefer that you wear shoes during choreography rehearsals, but what Monique says about the topic goes.
No gum!
PAY ATTENTION! Soak everything you are told and taught in and try your best to practice it while not at rehearsal (It wouldn't be a bad idea to bring a camera to record the rehearsals so that you can practice when you aren't at the theatre).
Please DO NOT talk while Monique is teaching, unless you are speaking with her.

It will probably take at least two days to fully teach the bigger numbers.
